Why voting is so important....(again!)

I know I promised I wouldn't go here again, but today I read this...

http://www.statesman.com/news/content/news/stories/local/10/27/1027jones.html

It's a story about a lady who is 109 years old - her father was born into slavery, she and her immediate family have known what it's like to be denied the vote and equality. She was middle-aged when Rosa Parks got on that bus and she cast her vote in the elections this week.

To make a seperate point, but an equally valid one.....

The people who voted for Ralph Nader when Bush was running for his second term were probably the ones responsible for landing us with him for another four years.

Mystery solved

I think it's safe to say that it is R Fuad in the picture. Everyone thinks so, including his own brothers and the person it's supposed to be.

Attention now turns to my friend's wedding. We're going on the first of two hen night next weekend. This one is for close friends and we're off to London, I'm now trying to find something to wear but it's a bit of a struggle given I'm a weird in-between size and nothing fits. The second is going to be in Sheffield, so am not sure what we'll be doing, we also have a dress fitting that day so I hope I fit into the frock!

Fuad or not Fuad, that is the question

It seems I've managed to spark the usual healthy family debate with regards to the picture. I am of the opinion it is Fuad, but I am willing to be proved wrong. I assumed it was taken around the time of the "white kenyan" phase. Maybe he can tell us if he was still in England when Leeds won the league, this could probably shed some light on it.
