Ok, well, the title is misleading but today His Lordship and I have been together for 5 years. Now, normally we don't bother with this kind of thing because it falls on a day when we would previously have been out partying and would be spending it hungover. But, this year he's bought me a rose plant which I will take a photo of later. I've bought him nothing because we don't usually bother so am feeling a little bit guilty!
Spoke to the Aussies around 11pm last night. They all seemed in good spirits, but looks as though my parents were struck down with whatever illness we've both had, but I'm sure there'll be an update on one or both of their blogs, so I won't go into detail.
We're still feeling a bit rough, so are going to spend the afternoon having a How I Met Your Mother marathon. We're on series 3 now.

We still haven't spoken to the Aussie's yet. And I still haven't watched the complete series DVDs of the Royle Family and Dad's Army that I have. Not even seen one of them. I should have done that instead of watching the Sherlock Holmes movie.
Congrats on lasting 5 years. The first 15 are the hardest. It gets slightly easier after that.
