Yes, that's right, we've been to Blackpool for the day today.
Because we missed His Lordship's actual birthday I promised him we would do anything he wanted today, he chose Blackpool so off we went. We spent some 2ps in the "penny falls", played on some arcade games, ate fish and chips and went for an incredibly bracing walk along the sea front. We were looking for that ferry that recently went aground, but I think it must have been moved by now because it wasn't there.
In other news, we've bought one of those bins you see on picket lines in order to burn the "dog poo wood" and other undesirable items from the shed. Oh, and a step ladder, it's all go y'know.

Playing Penny Falls, arcade games, fish and chips, a cold blustery day on the beach...reminds me of our summer holidays in Skeggy when we were kids.
