Too good to be true

This afternoon was a waste of a day for me, thanks to getting a migraine after two days of rubbish sleep. I went to Morrisons to get a few bits for when Ma and Pa come. I've had a headache since Sunday and just thought it was a continuation of that, until I got down the pasta isle and started to feel sick. I carried on shopping but at an increased speed, paid and got home. Because I hadn't got flashing lights I thought that maybe it was just a real bad headache and didn't want to take the immigran if it wasn't necessary. I took two paracetamol which did absolutely nothing. Around half three I just had to go and lie down. I woke up at half five and it was gone apart from that dull ache you get. But what a waste! I had planned to do all sorts today in preparation for my friend's bday party in Manchester on Saturday.

I'll be glad to get to work tomorrow, I'm going stir crazy.

Gina, your favorite cousin is going to give you some information. Please listen. I know migraines. I started getting them in my mid 30's. I feel for you. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

That being said, I will tell you two things.

1. I used to get about 6-10 a year. Since I cut out processed food, and foods with chemicals and preservatives in, I haven't had one migraine (over three years).

2. If you insist on continuing to put poison in your body, causing migraines, then try Excedrin. It's a pain killer with asprin and caffeine in it and available over the counter here. It works a treat. I used to take them at the slightest sign of a migraine and it would stop it in its tracks. But because of the caffeine, it used to keep me awake at night.

Your choice.
